About Delfina Foundation Open Call for Taiwanese Artists and Curators

The Delfina Foundation Residency, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan (R.O.C.), provides Taiwanese artists and curators with a 12-week residency in London. The program is designed to advance artistic practice in an international context, foster cultural exchange, and support professional development.

Delfina Foundation Open Call for Taiwanese Artists and Curators Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be Taiwanese nationals

  • Be active artists or curators in the field of contemporary art

  • Be proficient in English

  • Have no restrictions on traveling abroad, such as mandatory military service or legal limitations

Ineligibility criteria:

  • Applicants who have participated in any Ministry of Culture-supported residency within the past three years

Application Date and Process

  1. Prepare your application: Include your CV, portfolio, project proposal, and statement detailing how the residency will benefit your practice and local networks.

  2. Submit your application: Follow the Delfina Foundation’s official online submission process.

  3. Selection process: Applications are reviewed for artistic merit, potential for professional growth, and contribution to cultural exchange.

  4. Residency program: Successful applicants engage in a 12-week residency, participating in workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

  5. Post-residency reporting: Within 14 calendar days, residents submit a report in Mandarin or English, at least 2000 words, reflecting on outcomes and learnings.
