About Digital Nova Scotia - Digital Skills for Women+
Digital Skills for Women+ is designed to help women and gender-diverse individuals in Nova Scotia build confidence, understand the digital sector, and explore potential technology career pathways.
The program was created by women with lived experience of barriers in the technology industry. It responds to the underrepresentation of women and gender-diverse people in digital careers by providing accessible introductory training and exposure to current technology concepts.
The program is free to eligible participants and uses a cohort-based learning model, allowing participants to learn together, exchange experiences, and build confidence in a supportive environment.
