About Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council - Local Environmental Action Fund
The Local Environmental Action Fund (LEAF) is a community grant programme that supports local organisations in delivering projects that improve the environment and promote sustainable communities.
The programme encourages community participation in environmental protection through practical initiatives that enhance biodiversity, address climate challenges, and improve local green spaces across the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area.
LEAF is delivered through a partnership between IPB Insurance and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
Benefits of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council - Local Environmental Action Fund
- Grants range from €1,000 up to a maximum of €25,000
- Partial Grant funds may be paid in advance of project delivery where necessary

Eligible groups must be:
- registered with the dlr Public Participation Network (PPN)
- located in the operational area of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council;

- Tidy Towns Groups
- Residents’ Associations and Estate Management Groups
- Community Centres
- Scout Groups
- Youth Clubs
- Men’s Sheds
- Women’s Sheds
- Community Garden and Allotment Groups
