The Draper Richards Kaplan (DRK) Foundation supports early-stage social and environmental organizations with innovative, scalable solutions for underserved communities. DRK combines long-term funding, deep hands-on capacity building, and a global peer network to help organizations move from early impact to sustainable scale.
DRK provides up to $300,000 USD over three years, in grants or investment capital.
.DRK primarily funds early-stage organizations that are post-pilot and pre-scale.
Typical eligibility characteristics include:
Organizations with programs, products, or services already in use
Demonstrated early impact on intended beneficiaries
Usually two to five years old, though exceptions are considered
Both nonprofit and for-profit entities may apply, provided they are mission-driven and aligned with DRK’s criteria.
DRK also supports select for-profit social enterprises.
