The Graham Earp Scholarship in Sustainability and the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience Donor-Funded Scholarship in Risk are an invitation to international students to achieve excellence at Durham.

- Each scholarship is a competitive award worth £7000 in tuition fee discount towards the original tuition fee for a MA/MSc programme in the Geography Department starting in September 2026 (we will award up to three scholarships per scheme).
Durham University Graham Earp Scholarship in Sustainability and the IHRR Scholarship in Risk Requirements
To be eligible for either of the Geography Department or Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience scholarships, applicants must:
- have applied to an (in-person) taught MSc or MA in the Geography Department as listed above.
- start postgraduate studies at Durham University in September 2026.
- be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes.
- be self-funded and not already in receipt of any other scholarship, funding or sponsorship,
- meet or exceed the entry requirements for the programme applied for at Durham University
- complete the Geography/Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience scholarships application form
