About Eastern Michigan University Presidential Scholarship
The Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award is designed to strengthen scientific and technological collaboration between Italy and the United States.The award recognizes Italian scientists whose research and professional activities have contributed significantly to bilateral scientific cooperation.It supports international research exchange by giving the selected scientist an opportunity to undertake a research residency at an Italian research institution. The award can cover scientists working in any field of science and technology.

Eastern Michigan University Presidential Scholarship Requirements
- Applicants must be high school seniors or incoming freshmen planning to enroll at Eastern Michigan University in Fall 2027.
- Students must graduate from high school in 2026 or 2027.
- Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:
- A minimum 3.85 high school GPA, with no SAT or ACT requirement.
- A 3.5–3.84 high school GPA and a minimum 25 composite ACT score or 1200 SAT score based on Critical Reading and Math.
- Applicants must apply for admission to Eastern Michigan University.
- Students must submit all required official transcripts and test scores by December 15, 2026.
- Applicants must submit the Presidential Scholarship application and all required materials by December 15, 2026.
- Students must visit Eastern Michigan University at least once during the 2026 calendar year.
- An official campus tour, open house, or eligible virtual Honors session can fulfill the visit requirement.
