About EBID Young Professional Program

EBID Young Professional Program 2026 is a young professional programme that recruits high-calibre recent graduates into a structured trainee role at the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID). The programme offers rotational departmental postings and professional development to build a pipeline of future leaders.

The programme is delivered by the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) at its headquarters in Lomé, Togo. Selected participants start on an initial two-year fixed-term contract with a six-month probationary period and may be considered for permanent staff appointment on successful completion.

EBID Young Professional Program Requirements

  • Citizens of an ECOWAS Member State.
  • Candidates under 30 years old at the time of recruitment.
  • Holders of a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the Bank’s activities.
  • Individuals with strong analytical, organizational, and research skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Individuals fluent in English, French, or Portuguese, with a working knowledge of at least one of the other two languages.
