In the summer of 2026, the New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, in partnership with the Dow Jones News Fund, will bring together an elite cohort of college journalists to New York University for a one-week workshop of intensive training and mentorship.The mission of the Ed Bradley Fellowship is to identify and rectify the under-representation of African-American males in newsrooms across the country. There is value in people from all backgrounds being attuned to this lack of representation and the disparities that may result from it. The support of diverse allies is critical to effecting meaningful change toward equitable representation in newsrooms.
