About Edinburgh Doctoral Scholarship
Edinburgh Doctoral Scholarship supports PhD students applying to Business School doctoral programmes and provides full tuition plus an annual UKRI-equivalent stipend. Edinburgh Doctoral Scholarship is awarded in collaboration between the University’s Doctoral College and the Business School, aimed at attracting high-quality research candidates by offering funding and development opportunities.
Benefits of Edinburgh Doctoral Scholarship
- Full tuition fees (UK or Overseas).
- Annual stipend equal to the UKRI minimum rate for the relevant academic year of study.
Edinburgh Doctoral Scholarship Requirements
- All offer holders.
- Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer to one of our PhD programmes and expect to join in September 2027.
- Applicants must receive an offer of study by the scholarship deadline, 2 February 2027.
- Programme application must be complete by Tuesday 12 January 2027.
