The Edmonton Heritage Research & Development Grant supports projects that document, interpret, and raise awareness of Edmonton’s cultural and historical heritage. The program focuses on the planning, research, and development phases of heritage projects, providing funding to enable careful and thoughtful project execution.
Maximum Grant: $10,000 per project
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Individuals, collectives, or registered nonprofit societies within the Edmonton Metropolitan Region
Canadian citizens or permanent residents over 18 years old
Projects must provide clear benefits to Edmonton residents
Applicants must not have outstanding or open grants with the Edmonton Heritage Council
Projects must be one-time initiatives or pilot programs with defined start and end dates
