About Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarship in the Field of Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJMD) Scholarship, granted by the European Union, is open to international students in the field of Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control (E-PiCo). E-PiCo is a two-year master’s degree program that offers multidisciplinary topics in the e-mobility area and provides technical and scientific solutions to the issues of fossil consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Students awarded this scholarship will work towards an ecological transition and benefit from lectures by renowned researchers, annual workshops, practical work on the latest experimental platforms, and sessions with industrial specialists.
This integrated master’s degree course is conducted by Centrale Nantes, France, the coordinating institution, Università Degli Studi dell’Aquila in Italy, Christian-Albrechts-Universität Zu Kiel in Germany, and Universitatea Politehnica din București in Romania.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarship in the Field of Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control Requirements
Applicants who wish to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJMD) Scholarship in E-PiCo should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS credits in the European system) or equivalent in the field of Science or in a field related to electrical engineering, such as control systems or electrical engineering (related to control systems and electrical engineering).
- Graduation must occur before 31 July for non-European and before 30 September for European students.
- Be fluent in English speaking and writing sections. If the applicant’s mother tongue is not English, they must submit one of the following English proficiency tests: TOEFL (CBT 220, PBT 550, IBT 80), Cambridge First Test B2 (173 or higher), IELTS (6.5 or higher), or TOEIC (800 or higher).
- Meet the additional eligibility criteria of the universities.
