The Mundus Journalism master’s degree offers a curriculum that is uniquely focused on developing an analytical and critical lens on journalism, media and globalisation.

Benefits of Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarship in Journalism, Media and Globalisation

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship benefits:

  • Full tuition waiver for the duration of the programme.
  • Monthly allowance of €1400 to support travel, visa, installation, and living costs.
  • Allowance is granted for up to 24 months, starting from the first September of the 2-year programme.

Erasmus+ Stipends

All Mundus Journalism students can apply for an Erasmus+ stipend. So far, all eligible students have received this stipend. Due to the nature of the Erasmus+ programme, the stipend will be awarded to support the second year studies at the specialisation university. Information and assistance on the Erasmus+ stipend, as well as step-by-step guidance throughout the application process, will be provided by the Erasmus+ Office at Aarhus University after course start.

Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarship in Journalism, Media and Globalisation Requirements

Requirements for admission to the Mundus Journalism programme:

  • A 3 year bachelor’s degree within a relevant field of study
  • Documentation of English language proficiency (to be included in your application if you are not a native English speaker)
  • At least 3 months of journalistic experience

Application Date and Process

  • Your application package must be compiled as a single PDF file.
  • The PDF file must include the required documents in the exact order listed in items 1–8 below.
  • The PDF must be named according to the guidelines in item 9.
  • The PDF file must not exceed 10 MB.
