About Erasmus Mundus SpaceMed Scholarship
SPACEMED is a 2-year full-time European Master’s programme offering a unique integrated inter- and multidisciplinary study on the effects of extreme environments, particularly space flight, on humans. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on hands-on activities in state-of-the-art laboratories and on field studies, including space flight analogues (i.e., parabolic flights, Antarctic habitats, experimental bed rest studies, etc.), and extreme environments, such as those experienced at high altitude, underwater, and in hot and cold, dry and humid environments.

Erasmus Mundus SpaceMed Scholarship Requirements
- Applicants from all countries can apply
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, psychology, or kinesiology (180 ECTS), or a Master’s degree in engineering, or a medical degree, or a degree with significant study of humans in space or extreme environments
- English language requirement of B2 level
- Accepted English proof includes IELTS 6.5, TOEFL, Cambridge English B2 First, or an eligible university certificate confirming English as the language of instruction
- Applicants must not have received an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master or Erasmus Mundus Master Course/Joint Doctorate scholarship before
- Applicants must meet the programme’s admission and scholarship conditions
- All documents must be in English
- Only certified translations will be accepted and must be accompanied by the original document
