The Medium Grant Program from the Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust (EKCT) provides funding to charities delivering impactful projects and services in social, health, and environmental sectors. While the program primarily supports beneficiaries in Sussex, select funding categories, including wildlife conservation and international reproductive health projects, are open to UK and overseas organizations. Grants enable charities to address pressing community needs, enhance service delivery, and promote sustainable environmental practices.
Grant Amount: £10,001–£20,000 per project.
Organisation Type: Registered charities in England and Wales (Charity Commission) or Scotland (Office of the Scottish Charity Register).
Location: Primarily Sussex-based for most projects; certain categories (wildlife conservation, international reproductive health) are open internationally.
Project Alignment: Must address one or more of the program’s focus areas and demonstrate clear impact for beneficiaries.
