Robotics has become one of the biggest fields of education and research worldwide with strong societal and economic impact. The ETH Robotics Student Fellowship (ETH RSF) program offers graduate students the opportunity to research alongside experts on the specific topic of robotics of their choice.
Fully funded fellowship with CHF 4,000 stipend
Travel costs covered (up to CHF 1,200 for overseas flights, CHF 500 for shorter distances)
Visa expenses fully covered
Accommodation provided (deducted from stipend)
Hands-on research in world-class robotics labs
Mentorship from leading ETH Zurich faculty
Networking opportunities with global robotics professionals
Must be enrolled in a master’s program (or outstanding final-year undergraduate)
Graduation date expected January 2027 or later
Must attend full fellowship period (30 June – 28 August 2026)
Valid passport (6+ months beyond program end)
English proficiency required (assessed during interview, no formal certification needed)
