The European Media Art Platform residency was established with support from the European Union’s Creative Europe programme. It brings together artists working at the intersection of technology, science, media, and contemporary artistic practice.
The residency provides artists with the opportunity to spend two months at one of the EMAP host organisations. During this period, artists can develop their proposed projects within a professional institutional environment and make use of available technical resources and media laboratories.
The programme also creates opportunities for artists to connect with other practitioners, institutions, and professionals across the European media art ecosystem.
