About European University Institute - Jean Monnet Fellowships Program

The Jean Monnet Fellowships at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies support experienced scholars who want to undertake advanced research in Florence.Each year, up to 20 fellowships are awarded to researchers who meet the programme’s doctoral eligibility requirement. The programme aims to create a diverse and international community of researchers working on research topics connected to the Centre’s academic priorities.

• The fellowship provides a basic grant of €2,850 per month.

European University Institute - Jean Monnet Fellowships Program Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be scholars of any nationality.
• Have obtained their doctorate before 1 September 2022.
• Develop a research proposal aligned with the Centre’s research themes, programmes, or projects.
• Provide the required application documents.
• Arrange adequate medical insurance for the fellowship period.
