The Forte Project Grant Program supports research projects that analyze and generate in-depth knowledge within defined research areas or questions, specifically in health, working life, and welfare. Grants aim to promote high-quality research with clear potential to contribute to society in the short or long term.
A maximum of five million per grant. The total budget for the call is approximately SEK 345 million.
Main applicant: Must hold a doctoral degree by the call closing date
Application limit: Main applicants may submit only one application per call
Participating researchers: Can be included in multiple applications; must hold doctoral degrees if contributing significantly
Other participants: Doctoral students and other contributors may participate without personal accounts
Applicants: Individual researchers or research groups
Applications are submitted through the Prisma system
Main applicant and participating researchers must have personal accounts with updated CV and publication records
Fund administrator must have an approved organizational account
Applications can be written in Swedish or English; Swedish versions take precedence in case of ambiguity
