The Fraser Coast Community Grants Program supports community organisations in the Fraser Coast region to implement projects and events that deliver tangible social, community, or economic benefits. The initiative aligns with the Fraser Coast Council Corporate Plan 2023–2028 and aims to strengthen local community capacity, resilience, and infrastructure.
Grant Range: $1,000 – $5,000 (cash and/or in-kind support)
Maximum Applications: Two funded applications per organisation per year
Annual Limit: $5,000 per organisation, inclusive of in-kind support
Eligible applicants include:
Incorporated community organisations
Organisations with valid insurance and compliance with Council requirements
Entities delivering projects within or directly benefiting the Fraser Coast local government area
Prepare Your Application: Define your project or event, including objectives, expected outcomes, and community benefits.
Verify Eligibility: Ensure incorporation, insurance, and compliance requirements are met.
Submit Online: Complete your application via the SmartyGrants portal. Support is available through Council’s Grants Team or local Council libraries.
Assessment: Applications are evaluated based on:
Alignment with Council objectives and priorities
Demonstrated community benefit
Effective use of funds
Eligibility of organisation
Funding Notification: Successful applicants are notified, and funds or in-kind services are disbursed accordingly.
