About FACEF - Resonance Grants Performing Arts
The Resonance Grants Performing Arts program is designed to strengthen cultural and professional exchange between France and Australia through collaborative performing arts projects.The program supports partnerships involving organisations based in France, including French overseas territories, and Australian organisations or professional practitioners.

FACEF - Resonance Grants Performing Arts Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Legally registered entities in their country of operation
- Based in Australia or in France including French overseas territories
- Not-for-profit such as:
- Theatre/Dance/Music/Interdisciplinary company
- Music ensemble/orchestra
- Public institution (national theatre, state company, cultural centre...)
- Artist collective
- Festivals/Biennials
- Training institution/conservatoire
- Other
Applicants must have:
- Identified a partner in the other country, with whom they wish to work with (the partner can be another organisation or an individual practitioner). The partner must provide a letter of commitment/support.
- Identified a project with that partner, with whom they wish to collaborate
- Defined a clear and genuine partnership with the destination country
Eligibility period:
- Projects must take place within the eligibility period (18 months after notification)
- Projects may be at development stage but cannot have already been completed at the time of application
Are not eligible:
- Practitioners themselves
- For-profit/commercial organisations
- Organisations with no legal status
- Organisations whose activity sits outside the purpose of the grants
- Applicants not based either in France or in Australia
Application Date and Process
Step 1. Prepare Your Application
As the online application form cannot be saved, we strongly recommend preparing your responses and supporting documents in advance. To help you, we have provided an Application Template (Word) and a Budget Template (Excel).
All applications must be submitted in English.

Required Documents
- Detailed Project Description: A detailed presentation of the proposed project (maximum 1,100 words).
- Project Budget: An estimated project budget (in AUD, excluding GST/TVA) outlining all anticipated income, total project expenditure, and the amount requested from FACEF.
- Applicant Organisation Profile: A document presenting the applicant organisation.
- Project Partner Profile: If the project partner is/are individual practitioner(s), please provide biographies and/or CVs, including relevant professional experience and previous works. If the project partner is an organisation, please provide a company description and relevant work.
- Letter of Commitment from the Project Partner: A written commitment from the proposed organisation or practitioner(s).
- Supporting Visual Material: Supporting material relevant to your application, such as portfolios, videos, images, recordings or other documentation.
- Additional Supporting Material (optional): Any additional information you believe will strengthen your application.
Before submitting your documents, please ensure that:
- Each file is named using the following format: Resonance_PA26_ApplicantName_DocumentName
- All documents are attached to one email. If the submitted files exceed the volume an email allows, you may send us a link to access the documents. If you do so, please make sure that the link does not expire less than a week after the call closes (2 September).
