The Global Peace Photo Award recognizes and promotes photographers from all over the world whose pictures capture human efforts towards a peaceful world and the quest for beauty and goodness in our lives. The award goes to those photographs that best express the idea that our future lies in peaceful coexistence.
Total prize pool: €11,000.
Peace Image of the Year: €7,000 + display in Austrian Parliament for one year.
Stories category: 3 winners, €1,000 each.
Single photo category: €1,000.
Children’s Peace Image of the Year: €1,000.
All winners receive the Alfred Fried Peace Medal.
Travel and lodging covered for award ceremony in Vienna.
Winning images displayed in Austrian Parliament and international exhibitions.
Open to all photographers worldwide.
Submissions must be in .jpg format, minimum 3000 pixels.
No logos, borders, or embedded marks allowed.
Digital alterations permitted if disclosed in captions.
AI-generated photos may be excluded.
No entry fee; unlimited submissions allowed.
