About Government of Nova Scotia - Limestone Trucking Assistance Program
The Limestone Trucking Assistance Program aims to help Nova Scotia farms defray the cost of trucking limestone to give equal opportunity in neutralizing the acidity of the soil on agricultural land and improve production efficiencies.

Government of Nova Scotia - Limestone Trucking Assistance Program Requirements
To be eligible, you must be a farm, Mi'kmaq conducting farming activities in a Mi'kmaw community, or an agricultural industry association including Community Pastures.
Farms must:
- Be currently registered under the Farm Registration Act.
- Be actively farming in the program year and the applicant must be 19 years of age or older.
- Provide a current soil analysis or Nutrient Management Plan at the time of application (within 3 years)
Agricultural industry associations must:
- Demonstrate not-for-profit status
- Represent Nova Scotia agriculture and agri-food products.
