This fellowship focuses on examining the ethical, societal, and philosophical implications of artificial intelligence as it continues to evolve and integrate into various aspects of everyday life.

Harvard University Center for Hellenic Studies in Freece Fellowship in AI Ethics Requirements
Prerequisites for the fellowship are:
- A PhD degree (or its equivalent). Applicants must have defended their degree before December 1st, 2025.
- The fellow must be fluent in English and preferably possess some knowledge of modern Greek. It would be preferable for the fellow to be based in Greece.
Applicants may not apply to other CHS fellowship programs during the same application cycle.
Application Date and Process
- The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, February 6, 2026, at midnight (Eastern European Time). As part of the application process, applicants must upload a research proposal, a curriculum vitae, and a sample of published work.
- Applicants must also provide the names and contact information for two references. Please note that applicants may not write reference letters for other applicants. Additionally, members of the selection committee and the CHS faculty director may not write reference letters.
- The deadline for receiving all two reference letters via the CHS Greece application platform is February 11, 2026. Some applicants may be invited to online interviews. All applicants will receive notification of the selection committee's decision by early April 2026.
