About HENNGE Global Internship Program

Applications are open for the HENNGE Global Internship Program (GIP) 2025 in Tokyo. This 4–6 week software engineering internship offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience in cutting-edge cloud technologies, guided by experienced mentors at HENNGE’s Shibuya headquarters.

HENNGE Global Internship Program Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Full Stack Engineering Pathway Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 3rd-year undergrad or higher (Master’s/PhD and recent grads welcome)
• CS degree (or equivalent experience via internship/bootcamp)
• Fluent in English (no Japanese required)
• Skilled in Python or Go; familiar with Linux/MacOS/Unix
• Interested in open-source/tech communities & a career in Japan

Also, applicants must be skilled in three of the following: AWS, full-stack web apps, distributed systems, DevOps, Docker/containers

Ideal Candidate: A curious problem-solver, strong in both front & back end, eager to learn cloud/DevOps, and motivated to grow in Japan.

Front-End Engineering Pathway Qualifications:

• Applicants must be 3rd-year undergrad or higher (Master’s/PhD and recent grads welcome)
• CS degree (or equivalent experience via internship/bootcamp)
• Fluent in English (no Japanese required)
• Skilled in TypeScript with React/Vue; familiar with Linux/MacOS/Unix
• Interested in open-source/tech communities & a career in Japan

Also, applicants must be skilled in three of the following: AWS, full-stack/web apps, Python or Go, distributed systems, DevOps, testing, UI/UX tools

Ideal Candidate: A versatile builder with front-end expertise, some back-end exposure, DevOps awareness, and a passion for designing user-focused products.
