Opportunity Details
This fellowship is destined for researchers working on topics related to the four core research areas of the Centre: nuclear policy, states and non-state actors, grand strategy, and digital technology and security.
Research fellows are appointed for either one semester (fall: September - January / spring: February - June) or for the entire academic year (September - June), but exceptions will be considered. Research fellows will be listed on our website, will benefit from access to the Hertie library and may be provided with desk space at the Centre, subject to availability.

- All research fellowships are currently non-stipendiary appointments. However, the Centre can assist with funding applications from external sources such as the DAAD or the Humboldt Foundation.

- They welcome applications from junior as well as senior researchers who hold (or are in the processing of obtaining) a Ph.D. or equivalent degrees in political science, sociology or economics.
- They encourage applications from citizens of all countries and particularly women and minorities.
