About HKEX - Charity Partnership Programme

The HKEX Charity Partnership Programme is a community funding initiative established in 2020 by the HKEX Foundation.The programme supports impactful projects delivered by local charitable institutions in Hong Kong.It aims to address social and environmental challenges while helping people in need through projects that create lasting structural and systemic change.

Benefits of HKEX - Charity Partnership Programme

Eligible charitable institutions can apply for funding ranging from:

• Minimum grant amount: HKD 500,000 per project
• Maximum grant amount: HKD 5,000,000 per project

Applicants should prepare a strong project budget that clearly connects funding needs with long-term community impact.

HKEX - Charity Partnership Programme Requirements

Eligible applicants must be local charitable institutions in Hong Kong.

Applicants must:

• Be registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance
• Have been registered for at least three years on or before 24 July 2023
• Propose an impactful community project
• Align with one or more programme focus areas
• Demonstrate potential for structural or systemic change
