About Humanity in Action - Warsaw Fellowship Program
The Warsaw Fellowship is an intensive leadership and learning programme designed to strengthen civic engagement in an increasingly digital and polarized world.

During the program, you will:
- Engage with leading experts and practitioners also from Senior Fellows Network
- Exchange perspectives with an international group of participants
- Explore real-world challenges related to democracy, human rights, and digital transformation
- develop your own Action Project with the support of mentors and peers
Participation in the Fellowship is free of charge.
They cover:
- Accommodation (with breakfast)
- Lunches during the program
- Local transportation
Participants are expected to cover:
- Travel costs to and from Warsaw
- Insurance
- One daily meal and personal expenses
Humanity in Action - Warsaw Fellowship Program Requirements
- This Fellowship is open to individuals from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and the United States who are curious, motivated, and ready to engage with complex questions about democracy, human rights, and society.
- They warmly welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds — including students, activists, educators, and professionals — as well as those with different levels of experience. Whether you are already active in this field or just beginning to explore it, your perspective and motivation to act matters.
- They particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience of marginalization, as well as those who want to act as allies. At the same time, this program is designed for people both with and without minority backgrounds — we believe that meaningful dialogue and change happen when different perspectives come together.
- As the program will be conducted in English, a good command of English is required to fully participate in discussions and collaborative work.
- There is no age limit.

As the form does not allow you to save your progress, we recommend reviewing the PDF template first and preparing your answers and attachments in advance.
As part of your application, you will be asked to submit:
- your current CV (up to 2 pages in PDF)
- an essay on one of three given topics (up to 500 words)
- a short video (up to 90 sec.) and description (up to 100 words) presenting your Action Project idea
- a concept for sharing your experience beyond the Fellowship (up to 250 words)
