About Hume City Council’s Community Connection Grant
The Community Connection Grant is designed to support local organizations and community groups in delivering regular activities that encourage participation, connection, inclusion, and wellbeing within the Hume community.

Hume City Council’s Community Connection Grant Requirements
Eligible applicants include:
- Community organizations
- Incorporated associations
- Volunteer groups
- Cultural organizations
- Sporting and recreation groups
- Environmental groups
- Community development organizations
- Youth-focused organizations
- Not-for-profit community groups
Applicants must either be incorporated or operate under an approved auspice arrangement.
To qualify for funding, applicants must:
- Meet within Hume City or demonstrate benefit to Hume residents
- Be incorporated or have an auspice arrangement
- Have no outstanding debts with Hume City Council
- Have successfully acquitted previous Hume City Council grants
- Demonstrate the ability to manage project finances
- Provide quotes for equipment purchases where required
- Comply with relevant legal and governance requirements
