About IITM Incubation Cell TechPioneer Grant for Technology-Driven Startups

The TechPioneer Grant Program is an early-stage startup support initiative of the IITM Incubation Cell and the School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at IIT Madras.The programme is designed for DeepTech startups in India that have already developed a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) and need further support to validate, improve, and scale their innovation.

• Up to ₹5 Lakhs Grant via Pre-incubation at the School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, IIT Madras
• Up to ₹20 Lakhs Grant via Incubation at IIT Madras Incubation Cell

IITM Incubation Cell TechPioneer Grant for Technology-Driven Startups Requirements

The TechPioneer Grant is intended for early-stage DeepTech startups based in India.

Applicants should meet the core eligibility requirements:

• Be an early-stage startup based in India.
• Develop a DeepTech-based solution.
• Work in Agritech, Climatetech, or Fintech.
• Have a working prototype or MVP.
• Demonstrate potential for further development and scaling.
• Have founders prepared to use incubation and mentorship resources to advance the venture.

The programme is therefore more suitable for startups that have moved beyond the purely conceptual or idea stage.
