About Indian School of Business - Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF)
The Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG), in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB), has announced the opening of applications for the 3rd Cohort of the Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF) for the 2026–28 cycle. The programme is designed to strengthen evidence-based policymaking by providing structured research and analytical support to Members of the Meghalaya State Legislative Assembly.
Benefits of Indian School of Business - Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF)
- A monthly fellowship of Rs 50,000/- with House Rent Allowance per month. An additional Mobile Allowance as applicable may be admissible.
Indian School of Business - Meghalaya Legislative Research Fellowship (MLRF) Requirements
- A domicile of Meghalaya state (mandatory for all fellows)
- Masters/PhD in Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Policy, Statistics, Data Analytics & Geoinformation, Natural Sciences, and other interdisciplinary degrees, with relevant social sector experience
- Candidates with well-rounded knowledge of Meghalaya society, culture, and history would be preferred
- In addition to English, knowledge of Garo, Khasi, or Jaintia language is compulsory
- For Data Fellows: proficiency in data tools such as Excel, STATA, R, Python, Power BI, GIS or similar platforms is required
