About IASH Postdoctoral Fellowships
The IASH Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026-27 is an opportunity offered by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh to students with a PhD degree. This fellowship provides postdoctoral researchers with an opportunity to further enhance their skills in their area of interest and expertise.

IASH Postdoctoral Fellowships Requirements
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have been awarded a doctorate at the time of application, normally within the last three years (i.e. graduated between 2023 and 2026).
- provide a transcript, testamur, or a letter of completion/eligibility to graduate if not yet formally graduated at the time of application.
- not have held a permanent position at a university.
- not have previously held a Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.
- be applying with a research topic in the arts, humanities, or social sciences.
