The KWI International Fellowship 2027 in Germany offers a fully funded 6-month research stay at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) in Essen.

It focuses on innovative research in areas such as science studies, visual literacy, and aesthetic practices. KWI International Fellowship Requirements
- Completed PhD in the humanities or social sciences
- Up to six years of postdoctoral experience (R2 level of the European Framework for Research Careers)
- PhD completed in 2021 or later (for this call)
- Open to researchers from around the world; German nationals eligible only if currently employed at an international institution
- Individual researchers only (no group applications)
