About Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics RIPS Summer Internship
The Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) Programs provide an opportunity for talented undergraduate students to work in teams on real-world research projects proposed by sponsors from industry or the public sector. Each student team, with support from their academic mentor and industry mentor, will research the problem and present the results, both orally and in writing, at the end of the program.
Benefits of Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics RIPS Summer Internship
- Interns will receive a monthly stipend (US$4,200).
- Free accommodation at the UCLA campus will be provided through this research internship program.
- Free Round-trip travel to Los Angeles (airfare or reimbursement).
- Meals or Meal allowance will be provided under the RIPS 2024 internship.
- Opportunity to have site visits with the sponsors.
- Students will get partial support for future travel purposes to some selected conferences.
- Visa sponsorship for international students is provided.
Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics RIPS Summer Internship Requirements
- International Students from all over the world can apply for the RIPS-LA Program.
- Furthermore, international students studying in the US or abroad are also eligible for the RIPS 2025 LA.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants must be undergraduate students or recent graduates.
- Talented undergraduates or recent graduates of math, computer science, and related fields
- Applicants should have a strong academic background and interest in Mathematics.
- Studying in the US or abroad are eligible for RIPS-LA Summer Internship 2025 in USA.
