About IPI Validation Booster Programme

The Validation Booster is designed to help media innovators move from an initial idea toward a tested and validated digital product, service, format, or business concept.The programme is part of Media Innovation Europe 3.0, a broader initiative focused on accelerating digital transformation and innovation across Europe’s media sector and neighbouring countries.It is led by the International Press Institute (IPI) in partnership with Thomson Media, The Fix Foundation, and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network. The programme is particularly suitable for applicants who already have an innovative media idea and need support to determine whether it can work in practice.

Benefits of IPI Validation Booster Programme

• Selected participants will receive tailored support through expert mentoring, online workshops, practical assignments, pitch training and hands-on validation of their proposed product or service. Grants of up to EUR 3,000 are available for media outlets and organisations, while individuals and informal initiatives can receive up to EUR 2,000.
