The John Quincy Adams Society invites mid-career foreign policy practitioners to apply for its fourth annual Strategic Leaders Fellowship. This professional development program provides participants with opportunities to deepen their expertise in grand strategy and history while connecting with professional peers.
No program fees; participants only cover travel to D.C. if needed.
Fellows don’t need to live in D.C. but must attend in-person sessions.
Open to U.S. citizens only.
Applicants should have 5–20 years of foreign/defense policy experience or be transitioning from a military career.
Relevant experience can include military service, government, private sector, international work, internships, or fellowships.
Internships and partial foreign policy roles can count toward eligibility.
