Applicants must be socially/politically engaged, demonstrate German language proficiency (B2), and show strong academic performance.
Commitment to democracy, pluralism, and human rights is required.
Masters Scholarship
The completed and signed application form must be accompanied by:
• A letter of motivation (max. 1.5 pages)
• A tabular CV in German,
• Copies of university certificates with transcripts and records of achievement, along with German translations of these documents,
• A reference letter from a university lecturer assessing the applicant’s academic qualifications,
• Proof of voluntary engagement,
• Proof of German language proficiency at level B2 (at least level B1 at the time of application).
Doctoral Degree
In addition to the above, applicants for a doctoral scholarship must submit:
• A detailed description of the dissertation project (problem outline, planned methodology, work and time schedule) in German or English,
• A reference letter from the doctoral supervisor addressing the dissertation project,
• A confirmation of admission to the doctoral program from the faculty or department (if already available).
