The King Hussein Cancer Research Award Young Investigator Award recognizes early-career cancer researchers who have made innovative and impactful contributions to oncology research in the Arab world and internationally. The award supports both regional and international Arab-origin researchers.

- Recognition in the King Hussein Award Ceremony in Amman, Jordan
- Prize of $20,000
- Awarded to two applicants annually
King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center - Young Investigator Award for Cancer Research Requirements
- MD, PhD, or MD/PhD or equivalent degree; aged 45 and below.
- Demonstrated impactful and innovative contributions to cancer research.
- It is preferred that 50% of applicants' career work is dedicated to cancer research.
- Applicants in the regional track must be based in and affiliated with an institution in the Arab world.
- Applicants in the international track must be of Arab origin.
- Only one submission will be accepted per applicant per award cycle.
- Members of the Award Board are not eligible to apply during their term of service and for one year after, and previous winners may only reapply after 5 years.
