Visiting Research Fellows Program at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame. The program hosts outstanding scholars in peace research for either a semester or a full academic year. Fellows are expected to connect their research to ongoing Kroc Institute initiatives and contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute.The program emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches and research with direct relevance to policy and practice.

A Kroc Institute faculty committee will review the applications and make recommendations to the Institute Director. Selection criteria include evidence of academic excellence; clarity of the link to existing research at the Institute; and anticipation of participation in the intellectual life of the Institute. Fellowship applicants will be notified in April 2026 as to the outcome of the 2026-27 fellowships.
