The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) Research Infrastructure Grant Program supports public research centers and laboratories in Kuwait through funding for advanced equipment and shared laboratory facilities. The program aims to strengthen Kuwait’s national research ecosystem by enhancing institutional research capacity, fostering innovation, and enabling impactful scientific and technological advancement over a five-year implementation period.

Be based at a public research or academic institution in Kuwait
Submit proposals through a Principal Researcher (PR)
The PR must hold an official administrative title
The PR must be responsible for managing or overseeing a research laboratory or center
Submit a complete proposal within the designated deadline via email
Institutions must act formally through authorized representatives.
