About Leprosy Research Initiative RESILIENTD Grant Program

The RESILIENTD Grant supports research projects addressing social determinants of health in skin Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), with a mandatory focus on leprosy. The grant encourages collaborative, multi-country projects that advance understanding and interventions in affected communities. Funding is provided by the Leprosy Research Initiative in partnership with the Anesvad Foundation.

Benefits of Leprosy Research Initiative RESILIENTD Grant Program

  • Projects may last a maximum of four years (48 months). Average annual budgets should be between €30,000 and €70,000. Funding must align with project scope and activities, and adherence to budget limits is strictly enforced.

Leprosy Research Initiative RESILIENTD Grant Program Requirements

  • Eligible applicants include researchers and research teams affiliated with universities, NGOs, or research institutions proposing multi-country projects focused on skin NTDs.
  • Teams must meet geographic and gender balance requirements. Ineligible projects will be rejected without review.
