Marubeni Corporation - Social Welfare Grant Requirements
The Fund is open to projects planned by private organizations engaged in social welfare activities in Japan (purchase of vehicles, equipment, equipment, facility renovations, events, lectures, publications, research and research, etc.) that meet all of the following conditions.
- In principle, the applicant (implementing entity) must be a non-profit corporation such as a social welfare corporation or NPO corporation.
(However, even if you are not a corporation, organizations that have a track record of continuous activities for more than 3 years and are engaged in organizational activities are eligible.) In the case of a general incorporated association, it is only eligible if the Articles of Incorporation prohibit the distribution of surplus. Even if an organization has multiple offices, only one application from the same organization can be made.
- It must have a clear purpose, and the subject, content, and duration of the implementation must be clear. If the content of the project is inconsistent and the consistency of the plan is not recognized, it will not be eligible for adoption.
- The project must be completed within one year of the grant decision.
(Projects to be implemented and completed within the period from December 2026 to the end of November 2027 are eligible)
- It is not intended to compensate for so-called general expenses (expenses related to the normal operation of the organization), such as rent, utilities, and personnel costs (including full-time staff salaries, honorariums for lecturers, part-time workers, etc. at events, courses, etc.).
- The application cannot be expected to receive public subsidies from the national or local governments. In addition, in principle, the Fund will not allocate grants from the Fund or external funds other than its own funds (other private grants, crowdfunding, donations, sponsorships, loans, etc.) in the implementation of the application project. In addition, even if the applicant organization receives government subsidies or other private subsidies in projects or projects other than the grant application project, the application for this subsidy will not be affected.
- We do not provide subsidies for vehicle purchases to voluntary organizations.
