About McCain Institute Global Leaders Program

Entering its fifth year, the MGL program supports character-driven leaders from around the globe who embody Senator John McCain’s legacy of serving a cause greater than oneself. Previously known as Next Generation Leaders, the McCain Institute’s leadership program has prepared individuals to lead from a place of values and ethics since 2014.

Benefits of McCain Institute Global Leaders Program

• Participants will receive a stipend meant to cover incidental expenses incurred thhroughout the program. However, the direct costs of participation in the program (economy class travel,hotels, visas) will be fully covered by the McCain institute. There will be no cost of participation other than the time commitment that MGLs make to participate in programming.

McCain Institute Global Leaders Program Requirements

• Open to mid- to senior-career professionals with at least 5 years of experience.

• Must have strong English proficiency.

• Candidates should hold leadership roles, actively drive positive change, and demonstrate service orientation.

• No age or educational requirements; applicants from all countries and backgrounds are welcome.
