Benefits of MSU Out-of-State Scholarship

MSU's Non-Resident Scholarship has four award levels: 

• President's Award: $18,000 per year
• Provost's Award: $15,000 per year
• Dean's Award: $12,000 per year
• 1855 Scholarship: $9,000 per year

Students with a GPA of 3.4 or higher are guaranteed at least the $9,000 1855 Scholarship.

MSU Out-of-State Scholarship Requirements

• Must be an incoming first-year student.
• Must qualify as a domestic out-of-state resident.
• No separate scholarship application is required for the main non-resident scholarship.
