About Microsoft Explore Engineering Internship

The Microsoft Explore Internship is designed to introduce university students to different aspects of the technology product development cycle.

As an Explore Intern, participants will gain exposure to three key phases of product development: design, build and quality.

Interns work in a pod alongside other Explore participants, allowing them to learn collaboratively while exploring different technology careers.The programme provides exposure to software engineering, product management and technical programme management, giving students an opportunity to understand how different teams contribute to the development and delivery of technology products.Microsoft says interns work on real-world projects with teams across the world and have opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Microsoft Explore Engineering Internship Requirements

Currently pursuing full-time Bachelor’s degree.
Must be enrolled in first year of a 4-year undergraduate degree program at time of application.
Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent class) as well as one semester of calculus (or equivalent) by the start of the program.
