The Mildred’s Dream Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations that align with its mission of supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening communities through education, health services, and violence prevention initiatives.The foundation prioritizes programs that improve access to opportunities, address barriers faced by underserved populations, and provide meaningful support to individuals and families experiencing hardship or trauma.

- Maximum Grant Amount: Up to $25,000 per project
Mildred's Dream Foundation Non-Profit Grant Program Requirements
For an organization to be eligible to receive a grant from MDF, it must:
- Be designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit under 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code.
- Provide direct services, programming and/or advocacy in one (1) of the focus areas listed.
- Must have been established as a nonprofit for at least one (1) year prior to the grant application deadline.
- Starting this grant cycle, any organization that has received three (3) consecutive years of funding in the areas of Education or Health will be required to take a year off from applying for funding.
- Priority is given to applicants seeking funding for programs with total budgets of $250,000 or less, as MDF aims to support initiatives where its grant can represent a meaningful portion of the program’s overall funding (typically up to 10%).
