The Slovakia Scholarship for Talented Students 2026-27 offers an exceptional opportunity for international students to pursue bachelor’s, combined bachelor’s and master’s, or master’s degree studies in Slovakia with financial support of up to €15,000. This prestigious scholarship scheme, launched by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, supports students who wish to study in selected academic programs aligned with the country’s Smart Specialisation Strategy.

Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic - Slovakia Scholarship for Talented Students 2026-27 Requirements
- Open to international students from all countries
- No permanent or temporary residence in Slovakia since Jan 1, 2021 (exceptions apply)
- Must not have studied at a Slovak HEI or secondary school (exceptions for Erasmus+ or Slovaks abroad)
- Must have completed secondary education (for bachelor’s) or hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s)
- Must apply to a full-time, in-person program at a Slovak public HEI
- Must provide SAT score of at least 1100
- No age limit (those under 18 require guardian consent)

- SAT test result (minimum 1100)
- Structured CV (template provided)
- Motivation letter (template provided)
- Admission letter from a Slovak HEI (if available)
- Solemn declarations (residence, academic history, etc.)
- Certificates of participation in mobility programs (if applicable)
- Guardian consent (if under 18)

- Visit the Official Portal: Study in Slovakia
- Register Online: Complete the electronic registration form.
- Prepare Documents: Gather required documents including CV, motivation letter, and SAT results.
