About Monash University Humanitarian Scholarship
The Monash Humanitarian Scholarship are awarded on equity grounds to humanitarian visa holders, studying at a Monash campus in Australia. Additional consideration will be given if you have experienced other forms of career disruption due to family/carer responsibilities or educational disadvantage during past studies, such as being a recent refugee, living in a regional or remote area, have a disability or long-term medical condition, or have experienced difficult personal circumstances.
Benefits of Monash University Humanitarian Scholarship
- Full international student course fees paid for the duration of the degree.
- An allowance of $6000 per year (48 credit points of study) until the minimum points for your degree are completed.
Monash University Humanitarian Scholarship Requirements
- Required Language: English.
- Eligible Countries: All countries in the world (Australian humanitarian visa holder)
- A commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enroll in an undergraduate degree as an international student at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Have achieved a minimum ATAR of 70.00
Application Date and Process
- If you’re applying for a course via VTAC, please complete the VTAC Scholarship Application form by 7 October 2026.
- If you are a current Monash student or applying directly to Monash for your course, please complete the separate application form by 24 November 2026 (5pm). You must also email a copy of your current Visa to [email protected]
- To be considered for this scholarship, you must have applied for a course and be offered a place at Monash.
