Mornington Peninsula Shire is currently accepting applications for its Placemaking Grants Program 2026-2027. Interested applicants are encouraged to learn more about this opportunity and apply for it.
The Placemaking Grants program is designed to improve the vibrancy, liveability, and community appeal of townships across the Mornington Peninsula Shire.The programme supports place-based projects that improve the built environment, natural environment, community facilities, and public spaces.It also supports new activities and programmes that activate public places and encourage people to participate in community life.The overall goal is to help create welcoming, connected, inclusive, and vibrant communities within the Shire.
Eligible applicants must be;
a) a current incorporated association, and/or
b) a current, registered Not-For-Profit, Charity, Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) or,
c) if unincorporated / a community group, auspiced by another organisation
(must be as per 2a or 2b above) for the proposed activity, program or project detailed in their application.
d) Applicants may be required to upload model rules/constitutions to ensure the
organisation’s purpose aligns with the grant program priorities.
