UMS Scholarship welcomes international students to apply for bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral study opportunities at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, offering fully funded and partially funded schemes and support to help scholars succeed.

Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta - International Priority Scholarship Requirements
- Open to international students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees
- Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 18 months from the date of application
- Recommendation Letter from an educational or professional institution; must be on official letterhead, signed, and written in English
- Academic Certificate issued in English
- Academic Transcript issued in English
- Official English Language Certificate such as TOEFL, IELTS, DUO LINGO
- Study Purpose Essay outlining the applicant’s motivation and goals, written in English
- Research Proposal (Doctoral Program Only) – in PDF format and written in English
