About NASA Space Apps Challenge
Space Apps Challenge Scholarship is a global hackathon event organized by NASA where participants work individually or in teams to solve real-world challenges using NASA data and partner agency data. The focus is on innovation across space exploration, Earth and climate, satellite data, software, science, agriculture, technology, and storytelling.
The event is organized by NASA and is open to a wide range of participants including students, professionals, developers, scientists, designers, entrepreneurs, and space enthusiasts from around the world. The 2026 NASA Space Apps Challenge will take place on November 14–15, 2026, and participation is free of charge.
